Absolute pain in the posterior. I constantly kept making niggly little typos and other stupid mistakes. I’ve lost count how many adjustments I had to make. I’m still not sure if it’s all correct now. I’d spent so long on the paper texture and rendering that I got to the point where I stopped seeing the mistakes…and then stayed at that point for the next 5 days. Thankfully one plans the production schedule to finialise the piece with, at the very least, 4 days to spare before deadlines (in case I get ‘mistake blindness’).

All in all though I’m pleased with it. Given I’m now sick of the sight of it.

I’ve also been reassured that my constant emailing and triple checking of details and information and briefs is not annoying, it is in fact desirable, as it shows I care.

Personally thinking it’s annoying to recieve 5-8 emails a day repeatedly asking mundane questions.

But the customers always right!

So…thumbs up to me!

This was done on the spur of the moment, I didn’t have much time and was given a bare min specification. Its currently still in its mock-up form and hasn’t (as of yet) had anything more done to it. It’s waiting to be revised so to speak.

I do have a few more weeks to play about with it until the deadline approaches and I have to finalise it.

Like a lot of the mock ups I produce this is a very basic idea of what the end graphic should look like. Later on I’ll separate all the elements and redraw/ improve or completely redesign them and piece them back together with a bit of photoshop magic- just because I like constantly redoing things from scratch; until my eyes are bleeding from staring at the Mac screen for so long and I have severe hand cramp from holding the mouse for 8 solid hours.
