
I’ve always liked tattoos but piercings have been more of a recent thing. Information is readily available from numerous sites but experiences and advice is so varied its sometimes hard to form a solid educated opinion.
So I’m starting to compile FAQs and info’ based on my body mod projects- which at the mo’ are few and far between.

Types of piercings : BJS’s piercing info page to help you choose, decide or find the name of that elusive piercing.
BME: Body Modification Ezine. Excellent site with thousands and thousands of images in its well categorized galleries. To view more than 8 pages worth you will be require to join, which requires an written account of your own experiences or images ( or you could just pay).
Modblog : BME news blog with all the weird and wonderful body mods out there. Decent and entertaining read. Some NSFW and some just not safe for anything.
WIKI: BME wiki detailing the different types of piercings, infections, reconstruction etc
APP: (USA based) Association of Professional Piercers a good site with aftercare sheets for most piercings, hints and tips as well as something to judge what is ‘normal’ for a piercing. Bare in mind however everyone is different.
Body Art Forms: (USA based) Body Jewellery site. Thousands of excellent pieces for all piercings and every gauge. They do deliver to the UK.
Wildcat (UK based) body jewellery shop. Excellent site with excellent jewellery and more. Checkout their clearance lines!
